Tomorrow may never come

A spread for a friend

Hey Rimma,
so here is the spread that I was telling you about =) I think its very nice, in terms of that I really helps you to understand more about yourself. The cards do not have to guessing exactly everything, but rather giving you an insight and telling you of something that you were not aware of before. Also giving time to think and reflect.
I will be using the Archeon deck (which I used for other reading for you today) it might not be the one with the most bright (happy, optimistic) images but it is quite beautiful and inspiring, ENJOY!

Dard of the Day - Queen of Cups

Card of the day is – Queen of Cups

A few word to describe it – An observer, dreamy, tranquil, imaginative, kind yet passive.

She is enthroned on still water and caries a shell-like Cup containing a crayfish. In her other hand she holds the Lotus of Isis. This is the passive and receptive quality of water. She is almost invisible as she is enveloped by shadowy reflections.

A very nice card which describes me perfectly!

“Queen of Cups

Often a healer, counselor or psychic, this is a woman who seems to know what's wrong even before you open your mouth. Call her the emotional fix-it woman, but she seems to have exactly the right solution to problems relating to home, friends, love. Sometimes she is shy, self-effacing, you might not even notice her; other times she can be a little scary, dreamy, mysterious, a creative storyteller. Affectionate and loving, she is a "mom's mom" always there to hug, heal and bake cookies for her children. Her intuition is uncanny, her temper...well, it runs very deep and you don't ever want it turned against you. Talk about scary. Unfortunately, this is also a queen who can suffer from female hormonal problems, depression, moodiness, alcoholism, drug addiction, psychological problems.” -from Aeclectic Tarot learning section.

Card of the Day - Death

First card of the day is DEATH (XIII).

  • A few words to describe it - Transformation. Change, voluntary or involuntary, sudden/unexpected. Release through destruction.

Now let me start by saying that I own a couple of different tarot decks but for the card of the day I generally use the Aleister Crowley Thoth deck. In the later posts I’ll have the full list of decks that I own and my wish list! I also will be posting personal readings and spreads but each time I will also post the name of the deck that was used.

Card of the day- I will try to do as often as I can, since I am still kind of a beginner and it’s a good exercise for me. I will try to post the history of the card, my first thoughts on it and later how it may relate to every day life.

It is strange to be starting with the Death card, but that was the card that I drew today and the card that prompted me to create this community, =) how nice.

And so, this card symbolizes rebirth for me. Like a phoenix that rises from the ashes, you must sacrifice something in order to get something else, take one step back to take two steps forward…

A few important images in this card:

·        The fish and serpent represent resurrection or re-incarnation.

·        The skeleton is dancing a dance that is known as a Dance of Death.

·        On the head it is wearing a crown of Osiris.

·        Bubbles symbolize new life, or rebirth.

·        The eagle represents exaltation above solid mater, immortality.
